Public bug reported: Using Dapper, fully updated.
We have a few joysticks here and, for some reason, they are not calibrated correctly. In Windows I am able to make these usable by using the calibration tool in Game Controllers. There does not seem to be a comparable tool in Ubuntu which renders the joystick fairly useless. I have tried the packages "joystick" and "jscalibrator" but neither fix it; joystick is very difficult to use and jscalibrator is easy to use but doesn't seem to work perfectly. A tool more integrated into Gnome would be excellent. ** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- Need an easy way to calibrate joysticks https://launchpad.net/bugs/52088 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
