It doesn't matter. I explained that it's not a gnome-vfs problem. Totem also crashes for me when I try to open "smb://eleanor/HardDrive/Firefly/Firefly - 01x01 - Serenity Pilot.avi" with the same error I described above. It's never even contacting the smb server, it appears to be some kind of URL parsing error. If Alvaro had his partition up, I'm sure gnomevfs-ls would work just fine for him, as it does for me.
