In my case, I can call the echo service (sip:5...@ekiga.net, I think it is) without problem (can hear my echoed voice and hangup without freeze). I haven't tried calling to other ekiga accounts, though. Sound Recorder is also ok for me. My problem - hangup time - comes when calling to a phone number via 12voip (one of Betamax's providers), sort of sip:+44xxxxxxx...@sip.12voip.com.
