I can confirm this bug on jaunty. rm -R ~/.config/gnome-session/saved-session works as a workaround but is a no-go for usability and new users.
This bug is more than three years old and still not fixed. Another point is: The man page of "gnome-session" is wrong: "When saving a session, gnome-session saves the currently running applications in the $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/gnome-session/saved-session directory. But the $XDG_CONFIG_HOME is unset. gnome session saves in ~/.config /gnome-session/saved session which is not mentioned in the man page. -- should delete the saved session when unmarking automatic session saving option https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/34321 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
