Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel
Dual screen setup ( no xinerama, just 2 X screens ): if I try ( in the secondary screen ) to add an applet to the panel, first the list of applets correctly pops up in the secondary screen. But then when I choose any of them ( I tried at least 5 ) and click the 'Add' button, nothing will happen. The 'list of applets' dialog stays on the screen, the 'add' button keeps being pressed, and the applet does not get added in the panel ( neither the one in the primary nor the one in the secondary screen ) ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Fri Oct 9 23:59:46 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: gnome-panel 1:2.28.0-0ubuntu4 ProcEnviron: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-11.38-generic SourcePackage: gnome-panel Uname: Linux 2.6.31-11-generic i686 ** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- dual screen setup: adding applets in the secondary screen fails https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/447362 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
