File-roller says it supports .7z but doesn't perform archive operations
by itself, but relies on standard tools for this.

Ok so here is the problem!

If you're telling this to a new user and they go to open a .7z package
and File-Roller does not, then they think something is wrong and in
order to give File-Roller the COMPLETE support it is suppose to have
then all necessary packages needed to process this request should be
marked as dependant packages that get installed when File-Roller is
installed, in this case pzip or pzip-full should be installed by default
and the end-user should not be doing this.

This might not be a bug, BUT WHY list in Synaptic that a program
supports a feature and then leave that out during the install? Makes no
sense? Obviously Ubuntu DEV team thinks it's an added extra not needed
for some, either way it's better to add it to make File-Roller as
complete as possible so as not to confuse...

THANKS
