To mark this Invalid is completely wrong if you ask me. You would have to change the dialog in Nautilus to say "Don't make thumbnails for IMAGES larger then" rather then just chuck it under "Other previewable files". This very much feels like a bug to the ordinary user who has no concept of what it entails to make thumbnails of this or that file and shouldn't have to!
