Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution
The apport program is failing to upload the bug report (Evolution crashes when attempting to add recurrence to a new or existing event). The error message that comes up is: "Could not upload report data to crash database. <irlopen error [Errno8]_sslic:480 : EOF Occurred in violation of protocol. Ubuntu 9.04 Linux 2.6.28-16-generic #55-Ubuntu SMP Tue Oct 20 19:48:24 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux Package: Apport apport: Installed: 1.0-0ubuntu5.4 Candidate: 1.0-0ubuntu5.4 Version table: *** 1.0-0ubuntu5.4 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty-updates/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1.0-0ubuntu5.2 0 500 http://security.ubuntu.com jaunty-security/main Packages 1.0-0ubuntu5 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/main Packages So it seems that not only are things crashing but they're not being reported to those who would like to fix them. I'm not sure what I can do. Le me know.
