Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox
I just did a fresh install of Ubuntu 9.10 64 bit. After a song or two, Rhythmbox stops playing music. It seems to happen randomly no matter what song, artist or genre I'm playing. Clicking on buttons does nothing. The program doesn't seem to freeze or crash. It just refuses to respond to clicking play, pause or changing of songs. I can open up some menus in the program just not change any options or do any thing else. I also can't close the program. I end up having to use System Monitor to kill it. Nothing in my music collection has changed and played with out problems in Janunty. If any one needs more data of what's going on under the hood when this happens tell me what commands in shell to run and I'll provide a more detailed report. It wont be hard to reproduce this, I just have to start playing music and it'll randomly happen again.
