I encounter a bug of the same kind. When I introduce my USB key (with the label KEY Thibault), the icon which appear (on the Desktop, in Nautilus, etc.) is no more the good one. (look at the screenshot). I have however another USB key which don't encounter this problem (see the screenshot attached).
I'm encountering this problem since I used my key on Windows and stopped Windows before to remove it. I can reproduce this bug enough times you want to have all data. Before this event, I used to use my key with both Linux and Windows, without problems.
