Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gvfs
Forgive me if this is the wrong package. When i was copying some files from a USB disk to my HDD, the power cable came detached and I was informed of an I/O error and given the option to Skip or Skip all. I replugged the power for the USB disk and clicked 'Skip' and the transfer completed minus one file. I wish there were a retry option, to save from having to go in and find that one file and copy it by hand. :) ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 Date: Thu Nov 5 22:26:11 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Release amd64 (20091027) NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: gvfs 1.4.1-0ubuntu1 ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-14.48-generic SourcePackage: gvfs Uname: Linux 2.6.31-14-generic x86_64 ** Affects: gvfs (Ubuntu) Importance: Wishlist Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug -- On copy failure, retry is not an option https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/476106 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gvfs in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
