Hi Chris,

I was wrong, It wasn't my ram, it went well for a day, but then the
freezes came back again.

I tried to start an xterm session, but even that leads to an empty
screen (xsplash wallpaper) + cursor. It is possible to notice that it
won't be possible to log in, as you can't change terminals anymore when
by pressing ctrl-alt-fx, when you get to gdm.

Sometimes the nm-applet freezes also, but I can still keep on working:
- nm-applet showed icon of no connection, when I click it, nothing happens
- not able to switch terminals with ctrl-alt-f...
- able to use gnome, but with hick-ups. (When I open Terminal, it opens, but it
doesn't respond)
- Shutdown doesn't freezes

I tried running recovery mode, logging in through terminal, and then
executing 'startx' (so skipping the graphical log in), I can see my
desktop, files on my desktop, wallpaper, panels, left icons and menu's,
but not the tray icons in the upper right corner and no fusa. So that
points towards the network-manager again maybe?

I will add 4 files:
- my var/messages file + dmesg file of multiple failed boots:

http://ninetynine.be/rfiles/messages.txt
http://ninetynine.be/rfiles/dmesg.txt

- my var/messages file of the network-manager-applet-freeze I was
talking about as attachment

I also am experiencing this bug (oops):
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/451815, but I don't
know if this has something to do with it.

Thank u!
