Public bug reported:

Ubuntu 6.06

1. Install a program that does not get added to the Applications menu (I used
gnome-think).
2. Add a menu item for the application yourself, using the Applications Menu
Editor.
3. Some time later, uninstall the program.
4. Some time after that, select the menu item (whether by mistake, or because
you've forgotten you uninstalled the program, or because someone else
uninstalled it).

What you see: "Could not launch menu item - Details: Failed to execute
child process 'gnome-think' (No such file or directory)"

What you should see: Something that doesn't mention killing children.

** Affects: gnome-menus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Untriaged
         Status: Unconfirmed
