I think I already said which version I use (look closely, Ubuntu 6.06 [Dapper Drake] LTS). Anyway, the black screen appears after the loading of the necessary files completes. You know after the Ubuntu Logo dissappears. In other words sometimes I get a black screen, where I can do nothing, instead of the login screen. Is it a bug or wrong configuration result?
