Hi, thanks for your reply to my bug report. Sorry, but I don't know what is going on.
Usually - Rhythmbox does not see the disc, and so I cannot play the music on the disc. However, after the disc has been playing using "Movie Player", Rhythmbox gets itself sorted out and then it can see and play the audio CD. Unfortunately I'd say the problem lies with Ubuntu 9.04, at least my installation of it, which is up the shoot, screen display problems, missing icons, incorrect colour, and applications like System Monitor and Synaptic are just white holes in my screen. So I cannot do much with this bag of shit except maybe reinstall again, or perhaps I should go buy Microsoft Windows 7. Sorry to have troubled you. Many thanks anyway. PS. If you have any influence with Ubuntu developers, please tell them to stop using the term "STABLE", when they talk about stages of development.
