Is this bug still viewed as an issue, and is the Ubuntu bugs list the
right place to report it? As an end-user (not a developer) of Ubuntu
using fully updated 8.04 LTS in a small office network, it is very
frustrating that this bug is so severe that the popup alarm function of
Evolution 2.2.31 cannot be used (staff have missed meetings). The bug
is marked as Critical yet not confirmed? It is marked as present in the
Gnome Bugzilla pages (557449), yet not of sufficient importance for
anything to be done to solve it. The bug has been an issue for over a
year, yet if linux is to compete against MS products this surely needs
to be solved?
