Yes it is reproducible, it happens every time I use empathy. The status icon would normally look like screenshot-1. After I start empathy it changes to screenshot-2 and it stays like that as long as empathy is activated. After I quit [Chat>Quit from the Contacts list window] the icon changes to screenshot-3 when it should ideally go back to what it looked like in screenshot-1
