I'll try out your suggestions Marc. It hasn't happen recently. I'm wondering if it had something to do with GnomeDo's "Files and Folders" plug-in, which was sometimes causing suspend to fail. I fixed that problem and it hasn't happened since, but we'll see. I'll report back if there's any updates. Thanks.
