using music-applet I can see that some part of rhythmbox is still running if I closed it by right click - close onto the button in the sys panel. After that I can't start empathy unless I use "killall rhythmbox" I'm not sure but I guess some part of r. doesn't close properly Opening and closing from a termnial i get the following list of errors :-) rben...@vaio-fe31m:~$ rhythmbox ** (rhythmbox:6258): CRITICAL **: atk_object_set_name: assertion `name != NULL' failed ** (rhythmbox:6258): CRITICAL **: atk_object_set_name: assertion `name != NULL' failed Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/rhythmbox/plugins/dbusevents/__init__.py", line 38, in activate self.connect_events() File "/usr/lib/rhythmbox/plugins/dbusevents/__init__.py", line 61, in connect_events self.session_bus.add_signal_receiver(eval('self.%s' % event["handler"]),event["signal"][0],event["signal"][1]) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/dbus/bus.py", line 151, in add_signal_receiver path, **keywords) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/dbus/connection.py", line 382, in add_signal_receiver self._require_main_loop() RuntimeError: To make asynchronous calls, receive signals or export objects, D-Bus connections must be attached to a main loop by passing mainloop=... to the constructor or calling dbus.set_default_main_loop(...)
