Yeah, bug #252552 is the bug that the fdo bug I mentioned is based on.
I looks like a completely different symptom to me, but you have a lot
more knowledge and experience than I do, so I'll trust you. What would
be great is if you are able to compile from git and test.
Wish I could do that, might do some research on it on the weekend if
other things pan out OK thus leaving some spare time.
