Guys! What's this nonsense about closing this as invalid (to reduce the list of open bugs, I assume). If it's already been reported then it's a dupe and should be marked as such. It's nice to have gpointing-device- settings but I don't think you can configure scim or ibus with it.
So, while I don't have an obvious solution the issue raised here by Paul is absolutey valid, namely that input-related stuff needs to be configured in too many places. So, let's discuss that. ** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid => New ** Changed in: gsynaptics (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid => New ** Changed in: scim (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Wishlist ** Changed in: ibus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Wishlist ** Changed in: gsynaptics (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Wishlist -- Too many input device control panels https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/429995 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
