In Ubuntu 9.10 in file explorer I can see my CD Rom drive and open and
read data disks however if I put in an Audio Disk it is like the actual
drive is unmounted. The Device manager continures to see the drive and
see it has a disk loaded however file explorer cannt see the drive until
you unload the audio disk. No audio application recognised an audio disk
loaded in the drive so you cannot rip or play audio disks. The same
machine worked OK in Ubuntu 8.10 and a previously installation of 9.10
which did not recognise my Wireless card.
