Well, I have movies recorded with a Panasonic Camera (.MTS extension) and I have some issues (Karmic x86 and x86_64, two very different machines):
- Nautilus doesn't generate a preview thumbnail. I did some mime-type hack (I can't remember what exactly) and now Nautilus does thumbnails. I don't know if this is fixed in Lucid. - Totem (Gstreamer) plays MTS files very good, but with annoying A/V sync problems (the video has 1 sec. or some of delay). I haven't found a bug of this (should I create one?). - VLC plays MTS fine too, synchronization is ok, but I see some artifacts, which seems are fixed in trunk [1].
