Any reason for marking this bug as Invalid? As I mentioned, this bug was not experienced on Karmic on this same machine, only Lucid. That is my reasoning for hoping that the lucid team might take a look at this and take it seriously (so this upcoming LTS release could be as good as can be for all users.)
