I have the same problem on 2 computers with Ubuntu 9.10. 
I start Rhythmbox. Then Click Jamendo in the "Stores" section on the left. Then 
try to listen to any one of the songs, and nothing works. there is an error 
icon next to every song I try to listen to. (Red circle with a white line in 
the middle)   I can however, listen to songs in the "Magnatune" store. I have 
tried switching to format on Jamendo from OGG (300kbps) to MP3 (200kbps), but 
still no change.
