Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gconf
When user created a new link to executable file and then drag and drop it on top of the ubuntu desktop logo in top right corner of the screen, message appeared informing that the custom link has been added to the favourites menu, then user double click on the added link from the menu but nothing happens, no error message was displayed, no 'opening panel' panel was launched. When custom link is added to favourites menu the user should be able to execute it and open the application. Added link opens application when executed from nautilus browser.
