Public bug reported: Binary package hint: f-spot
If Rhythmbox is running, I can't access pictures on my Canon Powershot. After closing Rhythmbox, everything works perfectly. I do not know if this can help, but I found this in my syslog: Apr 10 22:32:51 2010 kernel: [55306.124086] usb 1-5: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 12 Apr 10 22:32:51 2010 kernel: [55306.262550] usb 1-5: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice Apr 10 22:32:51 2010 kernel: [55306.460032] usb 1-5: usbfs: process 20995 (rhythmbox) did not claim interface 0 before use Apr 10 22:32:51 2010 kernel: [55306.460060] usb 1-5: usbfs: process 20995 (rhythmbox) did not claim interface 0 before use Apr 10 22:32:51 2010 kernel: [55306.460095] usb 1-5: usbfs: process 20995 (rhythmbox) did not claim interface 0 before use Apr 10 22:32:51 2010 kernel: [55306.460119] usb 1-5: usbfs: process 20995 (rhythmbox) did not claim interface 0 before use Apr 10 22:32:51 2010 kernel: [55306.460143] usb 1-5: usbfs: process 20995 (rhythmbox) did not claim interface 0 before use Apr 10 22:32:51 2010 kernel: [55306.460166] usb 1-5: usbfs: process 20995 (rhythmbox) did not claim interface 0 before use Apr 10 22:32:51 2010 kernel: [55306.460190] usb 1-5: usbfs: process 20995 (rhythmbox) did not claim interface 0 before use Apr 10 22:32:51 2010 kernel: [55306.573113] usb 1-5: reset high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 12 Apr 10 22:32:51 2010 kernel: [55306.707336] usb 1-5: usbfs: process 1367 (gvfs-gphoto2-vo) did not claim interface 0 before use Apr 10 22:32:51 2010 kernel: [55306.707471] usb 1-5: usbfs: process 1367 (gvfs-gphoto2-vo) did not claim interface 0 before use Apr 10 22:32:51 2010 kernel: [55306.707510] usb 1-5: usbfs: process 1367 (gvfs-gphoto2-vo) did not claim interface 0 before use Apr 10 22:32:51 2010 kernel: [55306.707537] usb 1-5: usbfs: process 1367 (gvfs-gphoto2-vo) did not claim interface 0 before use Apr 10 22:32:51 2010 kernel: [55306.707554] usb 1-5: usbfs: process 1367 (gvfs-gphoto2-vo) did not claim interface 0 before use Apr 10 22:32:51 2010 kernel: [55306.707577] usb 1-5: usbfs: process 1367 (gvfs-gphoto2-vo) did not claim interface 0 before use Apr 10 22:32:51 2010 kernel: [55306.707594] usb 1-5: usbfs: process 1367 (gvfs-gphoto2-vo) did not claim interface 0 before use ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: f-spot 0.6.1.5-2ubuntu5 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-19.28-generic 2.6.32.10+drm33.1 Uname: Linux 2.6.32-19-generic i686 Architecture: i386 Date: Sat Apr 10 22:37:28 2010 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 "Lucid Lynx" - Beta i386 (20100318) ProcEnviron: LANG=fr_CA.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: f-spot ** Affects: f-spot (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 lucid -- Could not lock the device while rhythmbox is running https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/560441 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to f-spot in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
