Just to add some notes : 1.0.0 version have a soname bump due to removal of "device_link_service_process_message" function. There is also AFC_E_INVALID_ARGUMENT which was renamed between 0.9.7 and 1.0.0 (see http://git.gnome.org/browse/gvfs/commit/?id=1d1ce86222b0a34451b7fc798824e69dd0ebf93b)
