Experienced a similar crash when plugging in my iPod Touch. I was concurrently running a VMWare Player session that hosted a WindowsXP image. This VMWare image is configured to 'grab' the USB connection for the iPod and do the iTunes dance. While this was happening (and succeeding) - I got a crash box up in Linux with the suggestion to file a bug.
I'm affected by this, but not seriously as my VMWare session was just fine. Hopefully my input helps narrow down the problem a little. -- gvfs-afc-volume-monitor crashed with SIGSEGV in idevice_get_uuid() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/543597 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gvfs in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
