Pavucontrol acts strange here. In the Output tab, I can use the slider to adjust the output level for both left and right together. When I unlink those two, the one still keeps following the other, but with a slight lag in time. Unliked they can still both be used to increase or decrease the volume. The same goes for the case when they are linked.
