When I left-click on the applet, it opens normally. However, if I try to
modify any parameter (for instance the "show seconds" option), the
modification doesn't take effect until the next applet is open. I mean,
if I modify the configuration the changes are not applied to the current
execution of the applet.

If I move the mouse onto the applet without a click, the pop-up tip
appears normally.

The clock is stop: it doesn't up date at all.

Yes, the new applet shows the up-to-date time, which is different from
the original one (the former applet that is freezed).

Yes. Both hardware and system time is running normally: no problem at
this level.
