initctl status gdm gives : gdm stop/waiting . I've also attached the
file /etc/init/gdm.conf

very rarely the computer init is ok, most of the time it ends on command
line mode asking login and password, then back to command line (startx
needed, and then again password to unlock when in gnome). I suspect
something related to mouse movement, eg if I move the mouse during init
it fails, if I do not move the mouse during init it is okay, but really
not sure, I'll try to check this point and then go back to you there.
