if I specify u...@host in 'use host as ssh tunnel', I get the following messages: vinagre --gtk-vnc-debug gtk-vnc: Expose 0x0 @ 1472,772 gtk-vnc: Started background coroutine gtk-vnc: Resolving host localhost 5599 gtk-vnc: Trying socket 22 gtk-vnc: Protocol initialization gtk-vnc: Closing the connection: gvnc_read() - ret=0 gtk-vnc: Error while getting server version gtk-vnc: Doing final VNC cleanup gtk-vnc: Requesting that VNC close gtk-vnc: Requesting that VNC close gtk-vnc: Releasing VNC widget and a 'connection closed'. If I omit the username, I get a prompt for an ssh password, but with the wrong user for the remote machine. (Which is also running ubuntu 10.4).
