I mentioned that after the proposed updates thunar was working but
slower than usual. Renaming .gnome2 seems to have fixed it; the newly
generated .gnome2 directory has returned the speed that was there.

Still having two weird issues since the updates:
- unable to automount usb flash drives or dvd data discs
- when my trash is full and I go to delete it, I get some message that a file 
cannot be deleted. It does delete though

I don't suppose anyone can suggest the names of any other config
directories to try and rename so they get recreated. It seems to be some
issue to with the volume manager but I don't want to file a new bug when
no one else is experiencing it.
