Public bug reported:

I apology for my bad english.

The problem arise when i want to resize many big images, i select these
images and use the action Tools->Resize (not sure about names, i'm using
the french version of ubuntu).

Gthumb never free memory it use for this operation, as each operation
cost memory, with 200 images (>2000 pixels length) it eat more than 1 Go
of memory.

When no memory is avaible on RAM and swap, gthumb crash and linux free
the memory.

Hope it help, it's very annoying. I have to resize 20 images, close
gthumb reopen it and resize another 20 images and so on ...

package version gthumb 2.7.6-0ubuntu1, the rest is dapper up-to-date
