Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
Ubuntu 10.04 LTS GNOME Terminal 2.29.6 In System > Preferences > Startup Applications > Options check "Automatically remember running applications when logging out". The running application is a gnome terminal in which the font size has been reduced with a couple of Ctrl+- and the window has been resized as well. At the next login font size, window size and window location are not restored. The terminal font has the default value, the size of the window is bigger (I guess to accommodate the same number of lines and columns that it had at logout) and the location is different (I guess to entirely fit the window in the desktop).
