This is still a problem in Maverick on my System. When erasing a DVD-RW, Brasero says quickly that erasing has finished, but it takes a very long time 'til it really has. After that, the media isn't detected any more and don't shows on the Desktop neither I can use it to burn data on it. Funny: NeroLinux is working here.
