Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-media
1) Release: 10.04 2) gnome-media: Installed: 2.30.0-0ubuntu1 Candidate: 2.30.0-0ubuntu1 Version table: *** 2.30.0-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 3)What I expected to happen: Click and hold on the slider button in the volume control applet so that I can drag it up or down to adjust the volume. 4)When you go to click on the slider in the volume control applet, it sometimes causes the volume to be scrolled up or down as long as the mouse button is depressed (the mouse isn't being dragged at all). It appears that it is behaving as if one were to click on the horizontal line upon which the slider rests, instead of clicking on the slider itself to grab it. While this seems like a relatively small bug, it can often cause the volume to become disruptively loud, against the intentions of the user. ** Affects: gnome-media (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Jumpy behavior when trying to grab the volume slider https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/602529 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-media in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
