Has anybody tried the RGBA partial GTK+ window transparency? After 2 days of testing I think it works fine, but, on the other hand, makes the problem discussed here even worse. Recently I'm facing this problem very rarely, however, with RGBA transparency enabled, at nearly every boot I saw some visual corruption (usually the brightness applet). After disabling RGBA everything is fine again!
