You have been subscribed to a public bug: DMPS suspend is no longer trigged by gnome-power-preferences.
Instead the CRT (Samsung 950p) just displays a "no signal" message. This was working in all previous ubuntu releases. The following commands properly puts the display into suspend mode: xset +dpms xset dpms force suspend So its not the display, but something different about how gnome-power- preferences puts the display to sleep. Jaunty upgrade as of today, gnome 2.26.1, on a Duron 800 kt7 board w/ nvidia 5200 AGP gfx. .b. ** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: jaunty karmic lucid -- dmps suspsend no longer works https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/384436 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
