In Maverick, I installed gawk-doc via Synaptic Package Manager. Then I
opened a Terminal and typed:

yelp info:gawk

Yelp opened, but just hung there. It's been open for a couple minutes
now and nothing has come up yet. Marking as confirmed.

lsb_release -rd

apt-cache policy yelp
yelp:
