Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
When list view is enabled, Nautilus takes a long time (7-10 sec) to load a directory...even those relatively small (100 sub-directories..maybe 20 files). Changing to icon view makes things go a little faster,,maybe loading the same directory in 3-5 seconds. This has been happening on my machine since early Maverick.
