Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evince
If the document in question is read-only by way of having a password for modify and no password for read (as are common on the net these days) cannot be opened in evince, while windows has no issues reading them. I'm guessing that the issue is that there is no way to enter a null password into the password prompt... especially since pdfcrack finds the password ('') in nothing flat. can we please fix that? thanks, lamont ** Affects: evince (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- documents with a modify password, but no read password, cannot be read https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/650699 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evince in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
