Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

I'm on Maverick Meerkat, all updated to the very latest packages.

When I connect my iPod to the USB port, and select Rhythmbox to listen
to it on the dialog that appears, I can see the iPod content.

Then I can play a song doubleclicking on it, but at this point if a want
to skip the song and press the "next song" button (or also the "previous
song" button) Rhythmbox crashes and I have to restart it.

Also if I doubleclick on another song while I am listening another song
it crashes.

Instead, if I wait for the song to finish, it automatically goes to the
next song without any problems.

So as a temporary fix if I want to skip a song I go fast forward till
near the finish (let's say the song is 4:00 minutes, I go to 3:58), and
wait for it to automatically go to the next song.

Please fix it! Thanks!

I have a pretty old iPod (iPod Photo 30gb), could this be the reason?

If you need any logs let me know, I can post them tonight when I come
back home..

Anyway, congratulations for you work, last ubuntu (and rhythmbox) really
rocks!

REQUEST: please add the "browse by compilation" feature that is present
in iTunes, this will organize much better our databases, reducing the
number of artists and albums!
