I also have this issue in evolution 2.30.3-1ubuntu6 under Maverick 64bits.... My system is all in english so I don't think this is a language related issue...
I noted that the problem occurs when any kind of sort is used, regardless the field used (by "date", by "from", by "subject"...) I also noted that the problem only occurs when you make some change to the list of e-mails (delete a message, for example)... I reproduce the problem in the following way: 1 - sort the messages in the list by subject 2 - Click on one message so it will open in the preview panel 3 - Click on the message and delete It 4 - At this time, the evolution "jumps" to the message below the deleted one and at this point it "release" the sorting, I attached 2 screenshots showing the sort problem... 1- messages sorted by subject 2- After the message deletion, showing that the sort was disabled (the column lost the arrow, indication that it isn't sorted).. ** Attachment added: "messages sorted by subject" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/545789/+attachment/1694889/+files/1%20-%20sort%20by%20subject.png -- Evolution mail Inbox sort problem https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/545789 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
