Binary package hint: rhythmbox
Whenever I try to play an mp3 file in Rhythmbox or Totem, the file is
silent for the first few seconds and then crackles before playing
normally. I tried playing the file in VLC, and had no problems, which
leads me to believe this is an issue with gstreamer. This randomly
started about 3 days after upgrading to Ubuntu Maverick and hasn't
stopped since.
