Yes, it's completely reproducible I have 4 Ubuntu computers (2 workstations , 2 
laptops, at home+work) - all have this problem.
I would say chances are that 80% of boots result in bad looking icon, and even 
if it's ok, it can go bad after a while.

I also attached a new screenshot, I just swapped between viewports - and
for some bizzare reason, one of the Jungledisk icons just got a nice
background.

I have also seen this happen to only up or down-side of the icon. - so
sometimes, there's only one white bar..
