Yes, it's completely reproducible I have 4 Ubuntu computers (2 workstations , 2 laptops, at home+work) - all have this problem. I would say chances are that 80% of boots result in bad looking icon, and even if it's ok, it can go bad after a while.
32bit Jungledisk: (I don't use 64bit) http://downloads.jungledisk.com/jungledisk/junglediskdesktop_312-0_i386.deb 64bit Jungledisk http://downloads.jungledisk.com/jungledisk/junglediskdesktop_312-0_amd64.deb RealVNC: http://www.realvnc.com/cgi-bin/download.cgi I also attached a new screenshot, I just swapped between viewports - and for some bizzare reason, one of the Jungledisk icons just got a nice background. I have also seen this happen to only up or down-side of the icon. - so sometimes, there's only one white bar.. ** Attachment added: "icon trouble2.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-panel/+bug/664643/+attachment/1705374/+files/icon%20trouble2.png -- duplicate icons and icons displayed with white/black bars in gnome panel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/664643 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
