I'm having the identical issue that oytnx explains. My first ubuntu
install on a fresh partition with 10.10 and I setup Empathy with my
AIM/MSN credentials and everything seems to work fine except for the one
issue in MSN which is, out of the 2 people I have tried to communicate
with on MSN only one has worked flawless both ways and the other contact
it seems they were able to send me an initial message but all my
responses are met with the following error: "Error sending message '':
unknown". I had initially thought this was due to my display name being
in special characters when used on windows live messenger but then that
wouldn't explain why I can communicate with contact 1 no problem but not
contact 2.
