Copy&paste the script at the bottom of this page: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace#Summary%20in%20script%20form and save it as, say, get_trace.bash in your home directory 3. Open a terminal and run: nautilus -q; bash ~/get_trace.bash nautilus (If this immediately terminates, try it again -- it depends on whether you are able to start nautilus before it gets automatically restarted) 4. Reproduce your crash and attach the file /tmp/gdb-nautilus.txt to this bug
