Binary package hint: empathy
When I try to establish a video call, Empathy drops the connection. This
applies Jingle as well as to SIP. Audio calls work. Pushing the Camera
Icon to enable video drops the connection immediately.
Logs:
1. Jingle Call using video
"Could not establish connection" - Could not link source
2. SIP Audio Call, enabled video later
Connection dropped - no message on screen.
Attached see the Error Diagnostics of Empathy
Versions:
Ubuntu Maverick,
Empathy 2.32.0.1 (from PPA - but the original version din't work either- so
installed from ppa to no avail)
Additional Information:
Camera works fine with Linphone, Sip-Communicator
Pidgin segfaults when tried to connect using video
Machine: Acer Travelmate 5720, Camera:
064e:a101 Suyin Corp. Acer CrystalEye Webcam
Ubuntu Maverick Meerkat installed from scratch into new partition, data
partition with configs remained from Karmic (where Empathy worked fine)
